Dr Philip McCoy is a Senior Scientist at the National Institutes of Health, USA (NIH) where he is Director of Flow Cytometry for two of the institutes. He has published over 220 peer-reviewed publications and has edited 4 books. He has won numerous awards, including the lifetime achievement award from ASCP, the Wallace Coulter lectureship from ICCS, and an NIH Award of Merit. His recent activities include being an Associate Director of the NIH Center for Human Immunology and co-chairing the Human Immunophenotyping Consortium (HIPC) for the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS).
